How I Do It
Curiosity drives my approach.
My belief is that leaders fundamentally know what needs to shift to improve performance. The challenge seems to be turning what we know into what we do (action). Taking critical "time out" to gain clarity and focus, often falls to the bottom of the priority list.
CWC contracts with clients to get clear on needs and determines a plan of action. Ownership of the plan remains with the client, creating momentum for change. CWC provides support, challenge and expertise enabling the client to achieve their goals.
About my process:
Step 1: Contract
The most valuable step is determining "fit" between the client and CWC. Are our values and philosophies aligned? Getting clear on expectations, objectives and deliverables is critical to this first conversation.
Step 2: Analyze
Understand the business problem. Dig deeper into the root cause determining what is preventing the individual/team/organization from operating at peak performance. What is the gap? Skills? Knowledge? Behaviour/Attitude? Uncover what is currently working well in the organization and leverage it.
Step 3: Design Strategy & Intervention
Clients can count on tailored solutions to meet their individual business needs. CWC is driven to reinforce organizational values and culture with business goals. Interventions include elements to strengthen relationships, increase accountability, and develop new leadership habits.
Step 4: Execute
Once we reach agreement on the type of intervention, it's time for action. Whether that be group facilitation, individual coaching, or program design.
Step 5: Evaluate Impact
Debrief the process, the project, and its impact. The client relationship does not end once the intervention is in place. CWC will check in to learn how performance has changed, what customers are saying, and how business results have shifted. Honest and direct feedback is an expectation.
